She holds a bachelor’s degree in Agricultural economics and rural development from UR Nyagatare campus.

Emma Kenneally

Part time volunteer from University college-Cork, Ireland. She is a friendly, positive, outgoing individual with a deep passion for humanitarian issues. She completed her bachelor’s degrees in 2019, majoring in sociology and minoring in psychology and a master degree in sociology of development and Globalization in the year 2021. Since then, she is been travelling and working with different projects to learn and expand her knowledge on global problems. She lived in Greece and she was an education facilitator who worked with young single men. The aim of this project was to teach these people everything they needed to know to become self-sufficient after crossing to Europe. She is been also involved in another project that tackled prominent issues in the city of Athens. Our mission was to approach street-connected people and provide them with judgement free counselling and first aid. Her facility was one that homeless people could come to in order to wash their clothes, have showers and talk to volunteers.

She is very grateful that she is in a position to be able to learn about existing challenges and do what she can to help people especially those within a vulnerable state.

Sylvie ISHIMWE UWIMANA

She is a qualified clinical psycho therapist with vast experience acquired from various health service institutions/centers. Among those institutions/hospitals include.

King Faisal referral hospital,
RWAMAGANA Provincial Hospital,
NYANZA District Hospital and RWAMAGANA health centre, NYAMIRAMA health centre and Cornum at Kimisagara sector in Nyarugenge district.
In her professional career, Sylvie participated in the provision of emergency care, HIV and PMTCT related services, first aid, wound dressing, providing clinical care for women at labor and other different care provided in health setting. She also has other potential skills about data management got from different organizations like ICAP -Rwanda, Clinton health Initiatives (CHAI-Rwanda) and Rwanda Biomedical Center-RBC.
She communicates excellently in her work and has a potential teamwork spirit. She has easy personal inter- relations, interest to work with children and analytical interest in other cultures. She is excellent in computer and data management skills and also in reporting system. She works effectively with people of different cultural.
