Kabera is an experienced project manager, more especially in socio-economic domains with over thirteen years of experience through supporting service delivery, Research, Policy/Advocacy and Partnerships, in Rwanda, Uganda, Kenya, South Sudan and Ethiopia. He has got networking skills and also is an expert in entrepreneurship skills development and gender related matters. He has a bachelor’s degree in commerce and a Master’s degree in Project management.
Among his primary roles at Hope Iwacu Initiative includes tasks aimed at developing the organization's vision and implementing the policies and procedures that allow Hope Iwacu’s vision to be accomplished. He also coordinates a few tasks at the secretariat office both operational and administration. Countries of experience includes; Rwanda, South Sudan, India, China, South Africa, Zambia, Uganda, Burundi, Ethiopia, among others.

Ellen, Born in Rwanda, studied her high school in Kigali and her business studies from Kigali Institute of Science Technology & Management. She worked in various companies both in South Africa and Dubai (UAE). From the year 2010 she did post graduate courses while in Dubai in the areas of Human resources & recruitment, Public relations, among others. She got involved in supporting communities especially in issues such as peace building processes, Gender and child rights and personnel management. During her stay in United Arab Emirates (Dubai), she joined the Rwandan diaspora where she held the post of Rwandan Association secretary for a period of 5 years. During this time she handled many cases linked to human trafficking and other emerging cases of which majority of the Rwandese, the girls proved to be the victims. Today she is inspired of what Hope Iwacu Initiative’s team is doing to eradicate such a modern slavery. She is happily working with Hope Iwacu Initiative since November 2018.
In 2018 she joined Hope Iwacu Initiative as the human resource officer. She assists the fundraising think tanker team and at the same time coordinating of human resources and as well as quality assurance.

Justine is a professional training associate and the key attribute that she delivers includes; Researches and collects information pertaining to human rights matters, including their gender dimensions from a variety of data sources (e.g. communications, publications, the press) to keep abreast of issues/events and provide up-to-date information; assists in the analysis of information, to include the impact on Rwanda and thematic mandates on the human rights situation especially on transnational crimes like human trafficking and gender based violence.
Other assignments besides her daily routines includes; participating in court hearings and consultations and she prepares summaries of results, Participate in the process of soliciting for funding for the purposes of managing the task of identification, protection and assistance needs for victims and witnesses of human trafficking and other emerging crimes in Rwanda. Justine is a Business Administration graduate and currently she is pursuing a post graduate diploma in Gender and Human rights.
