Hope Iwacu Initiative works to ensure that adolescents, women, and vulnerable community members have access to accurate information, comprehensive reproductive healthcare, and their full sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR).
Our approach combines direct education in schools and communities with advocacy aimed at strengthening the policies that protect these rights. Through the Safe Space Tuseme clubs, community dialogues, and the Umusare radio drama series, we help normalize open conversation about SRHR and reduce the stigma that keeps young people from seeking the support they need.
We work closely with health providers, local leaders, and government partners to close gaps in access — particularly for adolescent girls and young women in rural districts, where information and services are often hardest to reach.
